Thursday night football returned to East Los Angeles as the Garfield Bulldogs faced the South El Monte Eagles, bringing another night of high school football, community and energy under the stadium lights.
Among the Bulldogs who stood out throughout the night was Garfield’s No. 2, whose speed, physical running style and determination made him one of the most exciting players to follow from the sideline.
From behind the camera, there are plays you anticipate—and then there are moments that develop so quickly that instinct takes over.
This was one of those moments.
